Tessa Minter

Tessa is Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Cape Town and also serves as Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Commerce with responsibility for the academic portfolio. She has a BSc in applied mathematics, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant (CA). Tessa served her articles with Arthur Young & Company, and also worked as an Investment Analyst for Old Mutual. Her research interest is focused on the effectiveness of information systems and their impact on corporate governance and risk management. Tessa currently plays an active role in the continuing professional education of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
