Ed Davis

Ed Davis CB CBE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in military leadership and strategic roles. Currently serving as Strategic Director at Capewell Europe Limited since January 2022, Ed also holds the position of Chair at the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council in Gibraltar and the Entain Charitable Foundation. Previous roles include Business Development Advisor at Cyjax and Non-Executive Strategy Director at Maritime Asset Security and Training Limited. Ed has a distinguished military career, having retired as Commandant General of the Royal Marines, where leadership encompassed significant multinational operations, including a command role in Afghanistan. Additionally, Ed served as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Gibraltar and held senior positions within NATO and the UK Ministry of Defence. Ed's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London.
