Marijn Markus

Marijn Markus is a Managing Consultant at Capgemini since October 2016, specializing as a Solution Architect for Project FARM, an AI & Big Data platform aiding smallholder farmers in Kenya. Notable achievements include being a European finalist in the IBM Watson Build competition, speaking at prestigious events like the World Summit AI & IBM THINK, and winning the La Niaque NL Award in 2019. Previously, Marijn held roles as a Senior Data Scientist for the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid and a Data Scientist for Santander Consumer Finance Benelux B.V., among other organizations. Marijn's early career featured positions including Data Scientist and Team Lead at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and data-related internships focusing on crime data analysis and NGO support during major crises.
