Violet Tam

Violet Tam, CPA, has extensive experience in internal audit and risk advisory roles, currently serving as Manager of Internal Audit at QuadReal Property Group since April 2020. Prior to this position, Violet held various roles at KPMG Canada from January 2016 to April 2020, including Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory and Senior Accountant in Enterprise Audit. Violet began their career as an Audit Associate at the Office of the Auditor General of British Columbia, focusing on financial and performance audits of government reporting entities. Earlier experience includes internships in internal audit at Westport Innovations, where responsibilities included developing control testing procedures in accordance with SOX guidelines. Violet holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from The University of British Columbia and received professional education from the CPA Western School of Business.
