Evan Gillon

Evan Gillon's work experience begins in 2009 at DIREXYON Technologies, where they worked as a Full-stack Developer for the Modex platform. Evan played a key role in rewriting the platform and was involved in designing, developing, and testing its features. In 2011, they continued as a Full-stack Developer for DIREXYON, contributing to the complete rewriting of the Modex platform using Silverlight, ASP .Net, MS SQL, and SSIS. From 2014 to 2016, Evan worked as a Full-stack Developer for Modex, participating in the rewrite of the platform using AngularJS, ASP .Net, MS SQL, and SSIS. Evan also worked closely with clients to gather requirements during client sessions. In 2017, Evan transitioned to Product Manager at DIREXYON and managed the Direxyon platform, presenting to prospective clients and overseeing the product's vision, roadmap, prioritization, and grooming. From 2019 to 2021, Evan took on the role of Product Owner for the Modex product, leading a major initiative to rewrite the product, involving significant technological and functional changes. In 2021, Evan joined Driven as a Technical Product Manager, overseeing the Driven Insights product and launching various features to increase customer sign-ups and engagement. Evan also worked as a Product Owner for the Driven Loan product, improving customer onboarding, satisfaction, and reducing support calls. In 2022, Evan joined Desjardins as a Product Owner, focusing on the evolution and improvement of two back-office products responsible for trade tracking and bookkeeping within the enterprise. Finally, in the same year, Evan joined CapIntel as a Senior Product Manager, contributing to the development of a platform that enhances the sales process for investment sales professionals and enterprises.

Evan Gillon's education history includes a diploma in Computer Systems Technology (Co-op Program) from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) that they obtained from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended École Rudolf Steiner de Montréal and obtained a Diplome d'Études Secondaire.
