Michael Spurlock

Michael Spurlock is a seasoned professional in data management and database administration with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Data Management Lead for the Capio Group on the CA High Speed Rail Project, Michael possesses advanced knowledge in SQL Server, Azure, Oracle, and DB2, along with experience in Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and FiveTran. Previous roles include Data Systems Manager at Consumer Direct Care Network, Database Administrator for both the Montana Department of Labor and Industry and Logistic Systems, Inc., and earlier positions in web design and television production. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Montana, has completed online coursework in Oracle and SQL, and received an Associate Degree in Engineering, Broadcasting from Northern Virginia Community College. Additional certifications and training include First Aid/CPR/AED and advanced Tableau workshops.
