Jakob Naess

Jakob Naess is currently a Development Technician at Capitainer AB, focusing on quality control, research and development projects, and market analysis since March 2022. In the summer of 2023, Jakob worked as a Research Assistant in Targeted Proteomics at SciLifeLab, specifically in Fredrik Edfors' group, where tasks involved protein detection and quantification using LC-MS/MS. Previously, Jakob served as a Teaching Assistant in Statistics for Biotechnology at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan and as a Laboratory Assistant at Karolinska Universitetslaboratoriet, handling sample preparation and direct PCR in the virology department. Jakob's early career included a position as a Deckhand at Blidösundsbolaget from May 2014 to September 2020. Educational credentials include a Master's in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with anticipated graduation in June 2024, and a Civilingenjör in Biotechnology from the same institution, alongside various academic experiences at international universities.
