Emma Yznaga is a Managing Paralegal at Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition and serves as the Intake and Coordination Lead for the Detained Adult Program MD Universal Representation team. With previous experience at RAICES as a Legal Assistant, Emma has assisted removal attorneys with a caseload of over 30 detained and non-detained clients. Emma has also interned at various organizations such as the American Bar Association, Children's Defense Fund, and worked as a Legislative Intern at the Texas House of Representatives.Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications & Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Mexican-American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
