Peter Breaux

Dr. Peter Breaux is a member of the CATS Board of Commissioners. An Associate Professor of History at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Breaux serves on a number of planning and transportation community boards, including the Baton Rouge Sustainable Transportation Committee and the Complete Streets Citizens Advisory Committee.

Breaux holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Orleans, a master’s degree from Southern University and a doctorate from Florida State University.
