Chris Watts

Chris Watts, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and tax services, currently serving as Controller at Capital Automotive Group since June 2015. In this role, responsibilities include optimizing financial health and operations for two franchise dealerships. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Tax Staff Associate at TJT, where Chris prepared tax returns and provided advisory services for multistate entities, and as Tax Staff Associate at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and Dixon Hughes PLLC, supporting large corporate clients with tax planning and compliance. Chris began the professional journey with internships at Coleman, Huntoon, & Brown, PLLC and Edward Jones Investment Co. Chris holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, both from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
