Sarabeth Berman

Sarabeth Berman serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the American Journalism Project, where focus lies on philanthropic support for local news organizations. Berman has held various leadership roles on the boards of prominent organizations, including the Mark Morris Dance Group and Capital B, a nonprofit focused on Black communities. Previously, Berman worked as the Global Head of Public Affairs for Teach For All and contributed significantly to the development and communication strategies for Teach For China. Additional experience includes managing the administration of BeijingDance/LDTX and producing the Beijing Dance Festival. Berman's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies with a concentration in Performing Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University.
