Denise Wilson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Denise began their career in 1982 at Sears as a District Business Manager, where they gained valuable management skills. In 1996, they joined Bank of America as a Performance Consultant before moving on to Denise Wilson Consulting in 1998. As an Independent Business Owner at their consulting company, they specialized in training and facilitation, offering customized workshops and seminars. In 1999, Denise transitioned to Capital City Bank Group, Inc. where they held multiple roles, including SVP, Director of StarUniversity and SVP, Chief Culture Officer. In these positions, they focused on learning and associate development, performance improvement, and strategic initiatives. More recently, in 2016, they joined The John Maxwell Team as a Certified Trainer, Coach, and Speaker, delivering customized workshops and seminars.

Denise Wilson, CPTD, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which they obtained from 1982 to 1985. Prior to this, they attended Grissom High School. In terms of additional certifications, Denise has achieved various qualifications throughout their career, including the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) from ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in 2016. Denise also holds certifications in Organizational Culture, Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach, Sales Productivity Series, Five Choices of Extraordinary Productivity, Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results, Certificate in Human Performance Improvement, and Taking Flight With DISC, among others. Denise'smost recent certification, the Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), was obtained from KM Institute (KMI) in the year 2022.
