Lee Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lee began their career at KPMG, where they gained extensive experience working with international teams on transaction and audit engagements. Lee then transitioned to a role at KPNQwest, where they managed mergers and acquisitions and played a key role in attempting to reorganize the company during a turbulent time. Following this, they joined VIA NetWorks as the Vice President of Treasurer, where they established treasury and tax functions and managed financial planning and analysis. Currently, Lee holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer at Capital City Bank, where they oversee various aspects of the credit administration division and focuses on loan delivery and risk management. Throughout their career, Lee has emphasized process efficiencies, technology utilization, and effective risk management to simplify operations.
Lee Nichols completed an associate's degree in Arts from Tallahassee Community College in 1989, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University in 1991. In 1994, Lee obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Board of Accountancy, State of Florida. Later in 2013, Lee obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from AICPA / CIMA.
