Jhae Smith

Jhae Smith has extensive work experience in the banking industry, starting in 1984 as a Loan Officer at Credit Association. Jhae then worked at First Security Bank as a Construction and Mortgage Loan Processor from 1987-1989. Smith then joined Zions First National Bank as a VP Private Banking Manager, where they managed relationships with high net worth individuals and provided solutions to their financial needs. In 2002, they moved to Bank of the West as VP Senior Private Banking Division Manager, where they led various projects such as implementing a new sales performance platform and designing operational and compliance audit procedures. Smith joined First Utah Bank in 2011 as VP Senior Commercial Lender before moving on to First National Bank of Layton as SVP Commercial Business Manager in 2015. Currently, they are working at Capital Community Bank as SVP Commercial Banking, where they are responsible for business development, marketing, portfolio management, credit analysis, and underwriting.

Jhae Smith completed a Master of Business Finance degree at Colorado State University Global from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Jhae obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the same institution in 2019. From 2007 to 2009, Jhae attended the University of Washington, studying Finance, Management, and Leadership.
