Mike Grupa

Mike Grupa is an experienced directional coordination and drilling professional with over 28 years in the industry. Currently, Mike serves as the Sr. Directional Coordinator - Operations at Capital Directional. Prior to this, Mike held various leadership roles including Directional Coordinating Manager at Downhole Drilling Services, where responsibilities included overseeing operational projects, revenue planning, and cost analysis. Mike's extensive career includes positions at renowned companies such as Baker Hughes, where Mike was a Sr. Directional Coordinator for the Southern US Land and GOM, and ORANGE Directional Technologies, overseeing directional and MWD personnel. Additionally, Mike has hands-on experience as a directional driller and has contributed to well planning and coordination across multiple regions including South Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico. Mike's educational background includes studies at Houston Community College and Dulles High School.
