Cassandra Deerfield is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contract management and data analysis. Currently serving as a Contract Management Specialist at the New York State Department of Health since April 2023, Cassandra also works as a Front Desk Representative at the Capital District YMCA from January 2023. Previously, Cassandra held the position of Management Specialist II at the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General for 15 years, where responsibilities included developing and researching audit projects to identify fraud. Earlier career roles include Data Analyst at Blackbaud, Facility Coordinator and Front Desk Representative at the Capital District YMCA, and Tax Compliance Representative at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in History from SUNY Oneonta.
