Kieran Tompkins is a Commodities Economist at Capital Economics since September 2020, specializing in commentary, analysis, and forecasts related to energy, precious metals, and industrial metal commodities. Prior to this role, Kieran served as an Assistant Economist at Capital Economics, engaging in research across various economic sectors including Global Economics and FX Markets. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at Capital Economics, where the firm’s independent economic research contributed to a deep understanding of financial markets and commodities. Kieran holds a Master of Science in Economics from City, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Exeter, along with foundational education from Sir Thomas Rich's School.
