Kevin Y.

Kevin Y. is an experienced signal technician currently employed at Capital Electric Line Builders since May 2023. Previously, Kevin worked as a signal technician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) from March 2019 to October 2022 and gained experience as a tech apprentice at IBEW Local 53 from April 2019 to January 2022. Career beginnings included a groundsman position at Local 53 IBEW from April 2017 to March 2019 and tram lead/locator at Ervin Cable Construction LLC, where responsibilities included managing a bore crew for underground utilities. Kevin's leadership capabilities were demonstrated as a team lead at NX Utilities from December 2014 to August 2016. Earlier roles included MEA at The Home Depot and custodian at Lee's Summit R-7 School District. Kevin achieved a trade degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology from MoValley JATC and a degree in Wind Turbine Technician from Vatterott Kansas City. Education was completed with a high school diploma from Lee's Summit West High School.
