Julio de la Jara

Julio de la Jara is the Head of Wind Turbine Procurement and Contract Management at Capital Energy. He is also an Associate Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he provides lectures on Costs structure in Marine Renewable projects and Introduction to Contracts suites of use in Marine Renewable projects. Previously, Julio worked at ScottishPower as a Principal Contract Manager for various offshore wind farms, leading contract management activities and setting up contracting strategies. His background also includes roles as a Project Engineer and Construction Project Manager in the renewable energy and construction industries. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a MSc in Renewable Energy and the Built Environment.
