Brett Riff has extensive work experience in various roles related to lending, real estate appraisals, and real estate transactions. Brett began their career in 2002 as an Appraiser and Real Estate Agent at Dugger, Canaday & Grafe. During their time there, they performed appraisal and consulting assignments for a range of clients including lenders and real estate holding entities. In 2006, they worked as a Broker Associate at Stewart Ranches, representing buyers and sellers in investment acquisitions and farm and ranch real estate transactions. Brett then started their own independent commercial appraisal and consulting firm, Private Clients, Commercial Real Estate Appraisals, where they provided valuation and consulting services to private individuals, community banks, and regional lenders. In 2008, they transitioned to Capital Farm Credit, starting as a Loan Officer and progressing to Branch Manager and later becoming the SVP Lending. In these roles, they oversaw strategic business opportunities, managed lending systems, and led market business development efforts. In 2020, they became the VP Lending Strategy Management, ensuring alignment of lending practices and marketing efforts to achieve association objectives. Most recently, in July 2021, they were appointed as the SVP Director of Lending Programs and Strategy at Capital Farm Credit, where they direct organizational efforts regarding strategic business opportunities and lending data analysis.
Brett Riff obtained a B.B.A. degree in Information and Operations Management from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In October 2019, they also obtained a certification titled "Hiring an Employee for Managers" from LinkedIn.
