Karen Slagle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Karen started their career as a Business Analyst at Nelnet in 2000, where they identified and implemented system enhancements and trained incoming technical advisors. In 2002, they joined CoBank as a Director, managing the loan accounting department and supporting customer relationships. During their tenure, they identified significant unbilled/uncollected fee revenue. In 2007, Karen moved to FIS Global, Inc as an IT Business Consultant, providing client support, advising on best practices, and coordinating software upgrades. Since 2012, they have been working at Capital Farm Credit, initially as Manager of Agribusiness Administration and later promoted to the role of SVP, Lending Administration. In this capacity, they managed a team responsible for closing commercial loans, developed standards for legal documentation, and provided regular reporting on portfolio balances, compliance, and financial statements.

Karen Slagle completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Industrial Geography at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 1986 to 1989.
