Marc Potters

Marc Potters is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Capital Fund Management (CFM) since October 1995, where responsibilities include overseeing research and investment strategies and serving as a board member. Previously, Marc held the position of Managing Director of Research at CFM. In academia, Marc was a Visiting Assistant Professor at UCLA Mathematics from August 2017 to July 2018, focusing on the applications of random matrix theory to big data analysis. Earlier in the career, Marc worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with Giorgio Parisi on Spin Glass Theory at the University of Rome "La Sapienza." Education includes a PhD in Physics from Princeton University (1989-1994) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics from Université de Montréal (1986-1989).
