Bob Butler

Bob Butler has extensive experience in managerial roles at The Capital Group since May 1993, currently serving as Manager of Mail Center Operations, where responsibilities include overseeing a team that interprets investor correspondence, manages document imaging, and ensures effective operational support. Prior positions within the company involved managing teams of business analysts and programmers, focusing on broker/dealer conversions and compliance, as well as processing financial transactions. Bob Butler also has experience in project management to enhance trading functionality and served as a liaison with the Legal Department. Earlier roles included service representative duties and managerial positions at American Funds. Bob Butler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute and served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army Infantry from 1990 to 1996.
