Dr. Amjed Al Nuaimy

Dr. Amjed Al Nuaimy has extensive work experience in the field of internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Amjed is currently working as a Consultant Internal Medicine/Cardiologist and Non-Invasive Cardiac Lab Director at Capital Health and Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant IM/Cardiology at Excellency Health Group/Munich Medical Center from February 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Consultant IM/Cardiologist at VPS Healthcare from June 2020 to February 2022.

Dr. Al Nuaimy also served as a Consultant and Head of Internal Medicine/Cardiology services and Non-Invasive Cardio-lab Director at Ultra Medical Center from May 2017 to June 2019. Dr. Amjed held a similar position at Al Ain Cromwell Hospital from September 2011 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Specialist Physician Internal Medicine-Cardiology Dpt. at Dar el shifaa General Hospital from December 2010 to June 2011.

Dr. Al Nuaimy gained experience as a Specialist Internal Medicine/Cardiology at Tawam Hospital from August 2008 to August 2010, and as a Specialist Internal Medicine/Cardiology at Al Ahli Hospital from December 2007 to July 2008. Dr. Amjed also worked as a Specialist Acute Medicine/Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation team leader at Rashid Hospital from August 2006 to December 2007.

Dr. Amjed Al Nuaimy has a comprehensive education history in the medical field. In 1987, they started their journey by enrolling in Baghdad University, College of Medicine, where they pursued a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, which they successfully completed in 1993.

Following their MBChB degree, Dr. Al Nuaimy pursued further specialization in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. From 1996 to 2000, they obtained board certification and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from the Iraqi Commission of Medical Specialization. During this time, they also completed a Diploma in Internal Medicine from Baghdad University, College of Medicine in 1999-2000.

In 2013-2014, Dr. Al Nuaimy attended Middlesex University, where they obtained a Diploma in Cardiology, further expanding their knowledge and expertise in this specialized field.

Continuing their professional development, Dr. Al Nuaimy sought additional certifications outside of formal education. In 2017, they successfully completed Level A & B training in Cardiac CT from CT Academy in Budapest. Additionally, in 2018 they obtained certification as an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Instructor from the American Heart Association.
