Seth Whetzel

Seth Whetzel serves as the Market Manager for the DMV & NYC regions in Community Development Real Estate Lending at Capital Impact Partners since September 2019, previously holding the position of Business Development Officer. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Lending and Manager of Lending & Portfolio Management at Building Hope, where responsibilities included evaluating financial health and project feasibility for schools, preparing credit recommendations, and cultivating relationships within the education sector. As Director of New School Growth at Seton Education Partners, Seth played a significant role in expanding Brilla College Prep Charter School, overseeing the development of new schools, conducting feasibility studies, and negotiating financing terms. Additional experience includes various roles related to development and education at organizations such as CSC, Georgetown University Medical Center, and Saint Mary's College of California. Seth holds a Master of Education and a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
