Nasdeep Purewal

Nasdeep Purewal has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Nasdeep is currently the Head of Credit at Capital on Tap, where they have been working since 2023. Prior to this, Nasdeep worked as the Head of Credit at Mondu, a fintech company focused on simplifying the financial lives of small to medium-sized businesses, from February 2022 to November 2022.

Before joining Mondu, Nasdeep held the position of Head of Credit Risk at Unzer Group from December 2020 to October 2021. Nasdeep was responsible for managing the Buy Now, Pay Later lending streams across multiple countries in both B2B and B2C sectors.

From 2016 to 2020, Nasdeep worked at NatWest Group as a Senior Credit Risk Manager. Nasdeep was responsible for overseeing the Unsecured Credit Risk department, managing Personal Loans, Credit Cards, and Overdrafts. Nasdeep's role included enhancing credit strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various teams within the organization.

Prior to NatWest Group, Nasdeep worked as a Credit Risk Consultant at Bank of Ireland and DFC Global Corp in 2014. Nasdeep was involved in analytics, model monitoring, and risk management in these roles. Nasdeep also worked as an MI Manager at The Co-operative Bank plc in 2014, where they centralized and improved management reporting.

In 2013, Nasdeep served as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at ING/Barclays Direct, working on acquisitions, policy, and collections strategies in the Mortgage team. Nasdeep also deputized within the Market Risk and Fraud teams when required.

Nasdeep started their career as a Performance Analyst at Leicestershire Police in 2009.

From 2004 to 2008, Nasdeep Purewal attended The University of Sheffield. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mathematics, and successfully completed their studies with a 2:1 classification.
