Jared Jordan

Jared J. is an experienced engineering and management professional with a robust background in leading technology teams and driving innovation across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as MVP at Capital One, Technical Advisor at Sunbird Messaging App, and Board Member at AceUp, Jared has also contributed to the University of Washington's Executive Committee for the College of Engineering since October 2021. Previous roles include Director of Engineering for Gmail at Google, Director of Engineering at YouTube, and Leader of Growth APAC Engineering at Netflix, among others. With a BSEE in Embedded Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington, Jared has a strong foundation in engineering principles and a history of successful project management in diverse environments.
