Jin Yan

Jin (Connie) Yan, PhD, MBA, is a seasoned professional in data science and quantitative analysis with extensive experience at Capital One since May 2015, serving as the Director of Data Science and Head of Partnerships Data Science. In this role, Jin has successfully developed advanced underwriting models, generating significant annual net present value for the partnership credit card business, and has improved risk management strategies through innovative research and application of emerging technologies. Prior experience includes leadership roles in quantitative analytics at Fannie Mae and a financial economist position at the FDA. Jin holds an Executive MBA from The Wharton School and a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Maryland, complemented by a BSc in Mathematics from Tsinghua University.
