Jose Ignacio Mingorance

Jose Ignacio Mingorance is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Capital One, Jose directs multiple full stack engineering teams focused on modernizing the Retail Card Technology Platform. Previously, Jose held various senior director roles at Fannie Mae, overseeing product delivery and technology initiatives across Capital Markets and Single-Family products, as well as leading large engineering organizations in agile development and DevOps practices. Jose’s career began with roles at Verisign, SAIC, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Black & Veatch, demonstrating a diverse foundation in engineering and software testing. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Information Technology from Virginia Tech and multiple leadership programs from prestigious institutions such as MIT and Harvard Business School.
