Nassima Bouzid

Nassima (Sima) Bouzid, PhD, is a Data Scientist at Invitae since September 2019, demonstrating effective communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Previously served as a Senior Billing Analyst, mentoring machine learning interns in data storytelling. Bouzid's experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Jewel ML and a Recommender Systems Consultant at Insight Data Science. Significant accomplishments include developing KibbleCurator, a dog food recommendation web application, and conducting a longitudinal study on gene-by-environment interactions during a Graduate Research Fellowship at the National Science Foundation, which uncovered significant genetic differences among lizards.
