Shina Adu

Shina Adu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, product oversight, and strategic leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Product Oversight in Cyber/Tech at Capital One, Shina leads technology risk management initiatives to mitigate enterprise risks and enhance governance frameworks. Previous roles include co-founding and leading strategy and product development at startups WiBi and TRU, and serving as SVP of Data Management at Citi, where Shina provided thought leadership in operational risk management and data governance. Shina's career also includes significant positions at RBC Wealth Management, Charles Schwab, and Morgan Stanley, showcasing a robust background in financial operations and risk supervision. An accomplished academic, Shina holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, and completed a diploma in Project Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
