Michelle Bethel-Miller has over 20 years of work experience. Michelle currently holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer at Capital Region Water since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked for the City of Philadelphia for 12 years, starting as a Deputy Revenue Commissioner in July 2008 and overseeing a budget of $9M and 165 positions. Before that, Michelle worked for the Commonwealth of PA, Department of Revenue in various roles, including Assistant Director, Bureau of Administrative Services, Division Chief, Enforcement- Bureau of Compliance, Division Chief, Bankruptcy - Bureau of Compliance, Assistant Manager, Call Center- Bureau of Collections, and Research Analyst/PC Coordinator, Call Center - Bureau of Collections. Their roles involved overseeing operations, developing policies and procedures, conducting research and analysis, and training employees.
Michelle Bethel-Miller holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Public Relations from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Michelle also pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix.
