Carey Hendrickson

Carey Hendrickson is the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Capital Senior Living. Carey has been with the company since May of 2014, and in their current role, they oversee all financial aspects of the company. This includes leading the accounting, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, taxes, financial shared services, risk management, real estate management, and corporate communications teams. Carey is also a member of the four-member executive management committee.

Prior to joining Capital Senior Living, Carey was the Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Belo from January 1997 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading the accounting, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, taxes, financial shared services, risk management, real estate management, and corporate communications teams. Carey was also responsible for partnering with the CEO on a 1½-year strategic review process that resulted in the sale to Gannett at 100% premium to pre-review price. Carey also directed the due diligence and transition efforts related to the sale.

Carey Hendrickson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Baylor University. Carey then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington.
