Waqar Riaz

Waqar Riaz is an experienced professional in human resources and journalism with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Head of HR at Capital TV Network since January 2020, Waqar has previously held the position of Group Head HR and Journalist at City42 from April 2016 to December 2019. Prior to that, Waqar worked as an HR & Admin Manager at Fast Way Arabia Company, focusing on recruitment, administration, employee relations, and labor law implementations from March 2014 to March 2016. Earlier roles include HR Coordinator at alfanar and HR & Admin Assistant at Abacus Consulting. Waqar's educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Finance & HRM from The University of Lahore and an MBA in Human Resources Management from NIBM (Coventry University, UK), supplemented by various certifications in human resource management and recruitment.
