David Dave L. Kaufman

David Dave L. Kaufman is the current Trustee at Capital University. David was the Chief Executive Officer at Encova Insurance from April 2017 to December 2019. Prior to that, they were the President and Chief Executive Officer at Motorists Insurance Group from April 1986 to April 2017. David also worked as a Financial Analyst at Capital Holding Corporation from September 1982 to April 1986. David's first job was as an Actuarial Analyst at Aetna Insurance Company (subsidiary of Connecticut General) from June 1981 to August 1982.

David Dave L. Kaufman graduated with a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Ohio Wesleyan University. David is certified from the American Academy of Actuaries as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and from the Casualty Actuarial Society as an Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).
