Brett Borle

Brett Borle, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brett is currently working as the Manager, US West Trading at Capital Power since August 2023. Prior to this role, they served as an Energy Trader at the same company from March 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Capital Power, Brett worked at Enbridge as a Technical Manager Energy Management, Power Operations from June 2021 to March 2022. Brett also gained experience in power marketing as a Power Marketing Representative at Tidal Energy Marketing from April 2019 to June 2021.

Earlier in their career, Brett held the position of Real Time Power Trader at Capital Power Corporation from March 2016 to April 2019. Brett also worked as a Market Fundamentals Analyst at ARC Resources Ltd. from August 2015 to March 2016, and as a Marketing Analyst from December 2012 to August 2015 at the same company.

Brett started their career at Talisman Centre as an Aquatic Supervisor from October 2008 to January 2013. Brett gained additional experience as a Joint Venture Accounting Summer Student at Devon Energy in the summer of 2011, and as a Summer Assessment Assistant at the City of Calgary in 2010.

Brett Borle, CFA, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) degree in Finance from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In February 2017, they also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the CFA Institute.
