Brian Vokal

Brian Vokal has extensive work experience in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Brian has recently joined Capital Power as the Vice President of Thermal Operations East. Prior to this, they worked at Midland Cogeneration Venture from 2000 to 2023, holding various roles including Vice President of Operations, Maintenance, & Engineering, Manager of Engineering, and Performance/Environmental Engineer. Before joining Midland Cogeneration Venture, Brian worked at Johnson Controls as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and at Detroit Diesel as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Brian Vokal completed their education in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from 1991 to 1995, followed by a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from 1996 to 1999.
