Kayla Bruce has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kayla Bruce completed their education at The University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering. In 2016, they also attended Delft University of Technology as an exchange student, focusing on Transportation and Highway Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Standard First Aid Level C CPR and AED from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in September 2022, The Rosie Mentoring Program from The Prosperity Project in July 2022, Climate Reality Leader from The Climate Reality Project in October 2021, Sustainability in Practice from Polytechnique Montréal in May 2021, and Engineer In Training from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in January 2020.
