Kerry Ryden Amer

Kerry Ryden Amer has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. They currently work as a Legal Counsel at Capital Power, starting in October 2018. Before that, they worked at Dentons, where they held various roles including Associate in the Energy Practice from March 2018 to September 2018. They also worked as a Law Clerk in the Energy Practice from May 2017 to March 2018, and as a Senior Business Development Coordinator from October 2015 to May 2017. Kerry Ryden Amer also has experience as a Business Development Consultant at Dentons from June 2015 to October 2015. Prior to Dentons, they worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Karen Brown, Esq. at George Washington University in July 2014 to September 2014. They gained legal intern experience at United States Sentencing Commission from June 2013 to March 2014. Kerry Ryden Amer started their legal career as a Litigation Paralegal at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from May 2010 to August 2012. They also worked as a Paralegal at Dickstein Shapiro LLP from October 2008 to September 2009, and as a Case Management Assistant at Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP from August 2007 to October 2008.

Kerry Ryden Amer completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice at American University from 2003 to 2007. Following this, from 2009 to 2010, Kerry pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Boston College. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Kerry obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from The George Washington University Law School.
