Scott Robinson

Scott Robinson has a diverse range of work experience in the field of information technology. Scott began their career in 2006 as an Application Packager Contractor for Vantix Systems, working with the Government of Alberta. Scott then worked as an Application Packager Contractor for Compugen through Wipro from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they were employed by Compugen Inc as an Application Packager Employee from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Canada CompuFixOnsite Inc. as an Information Technology Field Technician. Scott then worked for ATB Financial as a Deployment Technician and Network Support Technician Contractor from 2016 to 2016. In the same year, they also worked as a Deskside Support Technician Contractor for The Little Potato Company Ltd. In 2017, Scott was a Field Service Technician Contractor for Bluebird IT Solutions Ltd, a Network Technician Contractor for the University of Alberta, and a Deployment & Deskside Technician Contractor for the City of Edmonton. Most recently, Scott worked as a Desktop Support Specialist Contractor for Procom and an IS Senior Desktop Analyst for Capital Power, both in 2018.

Scott Robinson completed their education at two institutions. From 1992 to 1994, they attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) where they pursued Architectural Engineering Technology/Technician. After that, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Strathcona Career Training Institute (SCTI) to obtain their Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) degree in the field of Networking Specialist. In addition to these degrees, Scott also holds various certifications from institutions such as Microsoft and CompTIA, including A+ - CompTIA Desktop Hardware Certificate, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Network + - CompTIA Network Essentials Certificate, and Server+ - CompTIA Server Hardware Certificate.
