Afsana-Zahra Carim

Afsana-Zahra Carim began their work experience as a Graduate Trainee at Nedbank in January 2010. Afsana-Zahra then transitioned into the role of Product Manager at the same company in December 2010, where they worked until October 2012. Following this, they served as a Statistician at Ambledown Financial Services from November 2012 to December 2015. In January 2016, they joined Cipla as a Key Accounts and MIS Specialist and held the position until January 2019. From February 2019 to September 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst at Discovery Limited. Afsana-Zahra Carim then moved to Capitec Bank in October 2019 and held various roles, including Business Intelligence Business Analyst, Team Leader: Data and Analytics, and currently, Delivery Lead: Data & Decision Science- Credit Products.

Afsana-Zahra Carim attended Kharwastan Secondary from 1999 to 2002. Afsana-Zahra then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Systems, Analysis, and Design at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating in 2007. In 2010, they completed the Junior Management Program at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science).
