Scott Lederer

Scott Lederer is the Chief of Design at Capitol. Scott has over thirteen years of experience in UX design, with a focus on map-centric web apps for civic, social, and environmental good. Scott has worked for Azavea, Bitly, and Google Maps and Local Search, where they were responsible for redesigning the website and mobile app, as well as the rating stars system across all Google properties.

Scott Lederer has a MS in Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Scott also has a Post-Baccalaureate Studies in Computer Science from Columbia University. Lastly, they have a BA in English Lit from Boston University.
