Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson currently serves as a Board Member for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago since January 2024. Ken has been the CEO and Chairman of the Board at Capitol Bank since July 1996, and under Ken's leadership, the bank's assets grew from $107 million in 2003 to over $500 million by December 2020. Ken holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Additionally, Ken is pursuing education at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has participated in Leadership Greater Madison.
