Erin Coppola-Klein

Erin Coppola-Klein is an experienced educator with a strong background in social studies and humanities instruction for middle school students. Currently serving as a 7th and 8th Grade Humanities Teacher and Social Studies Specialist at Capitol Hill Day School since August 2018, Erin has implemented a comprehensive social studies curriculum and collaborated on interdisciplinary projects. Prior experience includes roles as a History/Social Studies Teacher and Instructional Coach at Washington Latin Public Charter School, where Erin developed innovative curricula and provided professional development for educators. With a commitment to student engagement and differentiated instruction, Erin's previous positions span various educational settings, including mentorship and experiential education aboard tall ships. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wellesley College and a Master of Arts in Teaching in History from NC State University.
