Irene Lu

Irene Lu serves as Vice President at Capitol Meridian Partners since September 2025, following a role as Private Equity Associate at The Carlyle Group from August 2022 to July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan from June 2020 to August 2022, and as a Summer Analyst at the same firm in June 2019. Irene also worked as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University in the summer of 2018 and as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School in 2017, contributing to five published case studies across various sectors. Earlier internships include a position in the Transplant Division at the University of Maryland Medical Center from June 2014 to July 2016. Irene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Secondary Degree in Economics from Harvard University, completed in 2020, and graduated from Atholton High School in 2016.
