The role and what we are looking for

You will be responsible for the delivery of protection and insurance sales objectives by leading, coaching and motivating team of Risk Account Managers (RAMs) operating across Victoria and Tasmania.

Suiting a proven sales professional, the successful candidate will be an established people leader with an insurance background and experience in the B2B SME market. In addition to achieving agreed sales metrics, they will be responsible for their team’s professional development via product knowledge training, sales skills coaching and by supporting career development.

They will have the interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including Underwriting and Claims Leaders which will allow you to provide win/win outcomes for your Members, RAMs and the business.

Operating in a regulated environment, your role will be critical in ensuring your team are adhering to our various regulatory obligations by conducting regular compliance reviews while and managing outcomes in accordance with Risk Advisory & Audit policy.

Driving a culture of integrity will be a high priority for the successful candidate who will adhere and promote Capricorn’s Code of Conduct which provides the standards for appropriate ethical and professional behaviour.

This is a field and home-based role, therefore a proven capability to work autonomously and travel is essential.

It is a requirement for this role for you to be RG146 compliant.
