Laurent Hasson

Laurent pushes the latest technology at CapsicoHealth to achieve business goals, from scalable data platforms and real-time processing for sensors and monitoring devices, to web-based services and mobile applications. He works closely with healthcare professionals to develop patient-focused scenarios, implement clinical pathways and surface evidence-based guidelines to help improve outcomes, relationships and experiences. Laurent has over 20 years of experience in technology, including 14 years at IBM where he developed and helped bring to market eCommerce solutions, advanced web frameworks, enterprise search solutions and socio-collaborative platforms. He then worked for BlackBerry and drove its open source web strategy, creating a developer ecosystem around emerging HTML5 web standards. Subsequently, he co-founded 360Fresh, a healthcare data analytics company focusing on inpatient re-admissions risk management, which was acquired by the Advisory Board Company in 2012. He has over 20 patents and several awards as a leading innovator and is widely experienced, having worked with various technologies and industries. He received his MSc from Brown University in 1995 and a BS from New York University in 1992.
