Shamma Masud

Shamma is an Associate in the Regulatory division and specialises in professional regulatory work. Shamma previously worked in-house for the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and conducted a broad range of Fitness to Practise (FTP) investigations and prepared cases for FTP hearings, including complex, high profile cases.

Prior to joining Capsticks, Shamma worked for the Association of Optometrists representing registered practitioners and students before the General Optical Council (GOC) and before NHS England & NHS Improvement against FTP, Registration and NHS Ophthalmic Performers List investigations.'

Shamma has experience in investigating and preparing cases for regulatory bodies including in relation to complex complaints and supporting vulnerable witnesses and registrants in sensitive cases.
