Richard Hernández

Richard Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Richard started their career at Johnson Controls Automotive in 2005, where they held the position of Professional Automotive. In this role, they were responsible for project management, coordinating process-related functions, and ensuring the production of quality products. Richard demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies, such as 5S and Kaizen, and utilized JCI Systems for achieving quality objectives. Richard worked at Johnson Controls Automotive until 2012.

Following their tenure at Johnson Controls Automotive, Richard joined Owens Corning as a Process Engineer at the Forming Area. Richard was responsible for establishing parameters for process equipment, maintaining product specifications with statistical process control (SPC), and achieving maintenance measures within company targets. Additionally, they served as a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Owens Corning, where they successfully implemented continuous process improvements and led monthly Kaizen events. Richard implemented Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for the Forming area. Richard worked at Owens Corning for the year 2012.

In 2013, Richard joined Capsugel as a Senior Quality Engineer. Richard'smain responsibilities included managing and attending to deviations in the manufacturing process, performing root cause analysis and risk assessment, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Richard also handled quality complaints to suppliers. Richard worked at Capsugel until 2018.

Richard's most recent position is at Lonza, where they are currently the Head of Workshop & Overhaul Maintenance. Richard assumed this role in May 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Quality Outgoing Head from June 2018. Further details about their current role and duration are not provided.
