Thomas Mennens

Thomas Mennens has a diverse range of work experience. Thomas started their career at GEA Group in 2017, where they worked as a Validation Engineer and later transitioned into a role as a Project Engineer. During this time, they were employed by QbD. In 2019, they joined Biocartis as a Process Engineer through QbD, a role they held until 2022. In 2022, they joined Labo Smeets NV as an Asset & Process Engineer before moving to their current position as a Project Engineer at Capsugel in 2023.

Thomas Mennens holds a diverse educational background. From 2020 to 2023, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied computer science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Prior to that, they attended KU Leuven from 2014 to 2016, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical engineering. Continuing their education at KU Leuven, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Bioscience engineering from 2011 to 2014. Thomas began their educational journey at Maris Stella Instituut from 2005 to 2011, specializing in Wetenschappen-Wiskunde (Science-Mathematics). In addition to their formal education, Thomas holds a certification in Green Belt Lean-Six Sigma DMAIC, obtained in May 2021 from Stanwick Management Consultants.
